Pints ("the App") is developed and operated by Pereatech AB ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Sweden. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Data stored on your device only:
This data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled). We do not have access to it.
Data processed by our servers:
Pints uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how the App is used and where to invest improvements. We collect anonymous, aggregated event data such as:
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, exact location, or any information that could directly identify you. Analytics data is tied to an anonymous installation ID generated by Apple, not to your Apple ID.
You can opt out on first launch, or at any time from the App's Settings screen under "Privacy → Share anonymous analytics". Turning it off stops all analytics event collection immediately.
The App requests "When In Use" location permission to save the location where you log each drink. This data is stored locally on your device only. We never receive or store your location on our servers. You can deny location permission and the App will work normally without it.
The App can access your camera and photo library to attach reference images for sticker generation. Photos are sent to our server solely for image generation and are not stored after processing.
Token purchases are processed by Apple. We verify purchase receipts server-side to track your token balance. We store only an anonymous device ID and the number of tokens purchased/used. We do not have access to your Apple ID or payment information.
All personal data (drink history, stickers, locations) is stored on your device and deleted when you delete the App. Anonymous server-side records (device ID, token balance, purchase history) are retained only as long as your anonymous session exists.
You can delete all your data — on-device and server-side — at any time from within the App: Settings → Delete All Data. This permanently removes your anonymous account, token balance, generated stickers, and local history.
Stickers are generated from prompts you provide. Prompts are screened by automated content moderation before generation. If you encounter a sticker you believe is inappropriate, tap and hold the sticker in the gallery and choose "Report". Reported stickers are hidden from your gallery and reviewed by our team.
The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we only store anonymous device identifiers server-side, there is minimal personal data to manage. The in-app "Delete All Data" option fulfils your right to erasure. For any other requests, contact us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
